Working on unreleased tracks?
ImgTool analyses audio in your browser, so demos, masters, Suno/Udio exports, and collaborator files stay on your machine while you build release visuals. That is the main difference versus tools that need you to upload audio to a server first.
Community examples, demos, and creator videos made with or shared around ImgTool.app. Got a finished visualizer you want considered here? Send it through the Creator Hub in the app.
720p exports are fully free and there is no account to create. For eligible free HD exports, the support watermark starts on but can be switched off for your first two HD exports; after that it stays fixed on. You also get one watermarked 4K test export at no cost per device. The £5 10-Day Release Pass unlocks clean, watermark-free HD, ongoing 4K, and release-week tools. For 4K, use a capable desktop or laptop and keep the scene sensible.
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using the Web Audio API and Canvas. Your audio files never leave your device, which makes ImgTool useful for unreleased tracks and private release prep.
Use a current desktop Chrome or Edge browser. Quality-first is the recommended export route there and supports WebM by default; supported Chrome and Edge setups can also save MP4 with H.264/AAC. Legacy real-time remains the fastest live WebM path. Safari export is experimental and limited to Legacy real-time at 720p / 30 FPS, and output can be uneven, especially with video backgrounds.
Use Playlist Maker when you want a finished YouTube playlist or mix video from multiple exported song videos. Export one song file per track in Batch Tracks, then join those files into one final playlist video, which is the safer route for planned 720p or 1080p / 30fps long-form exports. Use Live Set Mode Beta when you want live playback, rehearsals, OBS/browser-source streaming, or a performance-style controller. Playlist Maker is still labelled beta while longer joined exports get wider testing.
You pay £5 once via Lemon Squeezy and receive a licence key by email; there is no ImgTool login to create. Activating the key stores the pass locally in that browser on that device, so if you switch browser or device, or clear site data, paste the key again from your email. The pass unlocks clean, watermark-free HD and ongoing 4K, removes the support watermark, and adds Spotify Canvas, X Exports, Release Pack, Batch Tracks, and Playlist Maker in the same private browser workflow. After your first paid 10-Day, 30-Day, or Annual Pass, Spotify Canvas remains unlocked in that browser unless its site data is cleared.
First check your junk or spam folder for the Lemon Squeezy licence email. If a technical failure prevents you using a pass, email [email protected] within 7 days of purchase so we can investigate and put it right fairly.
