Short version: ImgTool.app is built to be privacy-first. Most tools run entirely in your browser, so your media is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers by default.

1) Local processing

  • Images, audio, and video used in tools (including the Music Visualizer) are processed locally using browser technologies (Canvas/Web Audio/WebCodecs where available).
  • Your files do not leave your device unless a feature explicitly tells you it will.

2) Music Visualizer

  • The Music Visualizer renders visuals client-side and exports videos locally to your device.
  • Background images/videos (if used) are decoded in the browser and drawn to a canvas for export.

3) Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage (for example: page views, button clicks, and feature usage). This helps us improve the product.

  • Analytics does not include your uploaded/selected media content.
  • You can limit tracking using browser privacy controls, extensions, or “Do Not Track” settings.

4) Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare for performance, security, and abuse prevention. Cloudflare may process standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) to provide these services.

5) Payments (Lemon Squeezy)

Paid features (such as export passes/subscriptions, if enabled) are handled by Lemon Squeezy.

  • We do not store your payment card details on ImgTool.app.
  • Payment processing and receipts are handled by Lemon Squeezy in line with their policies.

6) Cookies

We may use essential cookies to keep the site running smoothly. Third-party services (like Google Analytics) may set cookies depending on your consent and browser settings.
